We invite corporate sponsors and philanthropic organizations, both local and international, to sponsor CHItaly 2023. Financial support ensures that the conference remains accessible to a broad audience, thus reducing the barriers to participation, supporting inclusivity, while allowing people to network and showcase innovations in a familiar context.

We aim to foster a diverse community with participants from multiple disciplines, organizations, and geographic locations. We value and encourage participation from people in the academy, industry, government, and civil society.

CHItaly is an international conference held in English, with researchers and professionals from outside Italy that historically count for around half of the conference attendees. Attendees are part of a community of designers, researchers, and practitioners from diverse backgrounds, who investigate and design novel and creative ways for people to interact and use technology. The 2023 edition of the conference, in particular, has a special focus on the crossing between interactive systems and artificial intelligence, for which contributions were encouraged. The conference will be held in September 2023 in presence in Torino (Italy) with interactive sessions on the metaverse, to reduce the distance between in-person attendees and remote participants.

Sponsorship of the bi-annual conference of the Italian ACM SIGCHI Chapter (CHItaly) contributes to furthering research and dialogue around the design and creation of interactive systems and applications, including those that employ artificial intelligence and virtual/augmented reality. We deeply appreciate any amount of support a company or foundation can provide. All contributions are pooled into a single fund (handled by an event management company), which support activities like subsidizing the cost of registration for students and scholars from economically developing countries, increase accessibility and inclusivity of the event, and pursue innovative ways to perform a fully hybrid conference.
